UCOST

Meeting - “Development of Geoportal and Clearinghouse for Provision of Geospatial Information Services under Uttarakhand Spatial Data Infrastructure (UKSDI)”.

10 July, 2015 — Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology, Dehradun and Centre for Excellence NRDMS Centre, Kumaon University, Almora jointly organizing workshop on “Setting up GIS Cell and its application in district planning and administration” during 10-07-2015 to 11-07-2015 at Vikash Bhawan, Tehri. In which 37 official from different line departments include District Magistrate (DM), Tehri Garhwal will be participate in the workshop. In this meeting Dr. Rajendra Dobhal, DG, UCOST(PI) and Dr. D.P. Uniyal, Sr. Scientific Officer(Project Coordinator) will participate and give feedback about the project


Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology, Dehradun and Centre for Excellence NRDMS Centre, Kumaon University, Almora jointly implementing the SDI project. UCOST will organize meeting for the equipments purchase of project entitled “Development of Standard Based Uttarakhand State Geoportal for Decentralized Governance on 13th July”.

3. Shri P.S. Acharaya, Advisor and Scientist-G, NRDMS, Division, Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, Member.
4. Prof. J. S. Rawat, Director, Center of Excellence for Natural Resources Data Management System (NRDMS) in Uttarakhand, Kumaun University, SSJ Campus, Almora Member.
5. Dr. D. P. Uniyal, Sr. Scientific Officer& Member Secretary, UCOST etc.
