National Conference on Monitooring and Management of Drinking Water Quality (NCMMDWQ) held at UCOST
Shri Surendra Singh Negi, hon'ble Minister Science & Technology, Govt of Uttarakhand inaugratd the 3 day National Conference organised in the UCOST.
Around 180 participants working in the fields of water research conservation and popularization from all over India participated in the three day long National Conference on Monitooring and Management of Drinking Water Quality (NCMMDWQ) that concluded on Wednesday.
Various presentation in oral and poster sessions were held durng the conference. This programme wa jointly organised by Uttarkhand State Council for Science & Technology (UCOST) and national Environment Science Academy (NESA).
Uttarakhand cabnet minister Dinesh Agarwal as a chief guest on the concluding day of the programme said that Uttarakhand is the first state in country which has claimed for green bonus. He stressed on the need of rain water harvesting for sustainability of water in the hilly region of the state. - Source "the pioneer"
