21st Uttarakhand Foundation Day was celebrated at UCOST, Vigyan Dham

On the occasion of Uttarakhand Foundation Day 2021, a Popular Lecture was organised at Uttarakhand State  Council for Science & Technology (UCOST), Vigyan Dham on 9 November 2011. Shri Ajay Sharma, an eminent Historian delivered a lecture on Uttarakhand Andolan and its various aspects. Dr Rajendra Dobhal, DG UCOST; Shri Rakesh Oberoi from CII;  Shri Jairaj, Ex-PCCF; Dr D. P. Uniyal, Joint Director; Dr Prashant Singh, Dr B. M. Sharma and experts from industries, Scientific institutes and UCOST staff were present in the program. Dr Rajendra Dobhal delivered the inaugural address and said that if we want to give something to our youth we should give sportsmanship spirit. Dr Ajay Sharma gave a detailed lecture about various phases of Uttarakhand Andolan and the organisation. He enlightened  on the struggle of people involved in this historical event. It was the result of collective consciousness and efforts of many people which results in the formation of Uttarakhand State. People share their views and ideas about the development of Uttarakhand.
