Inauguration of Biodiversity Park – Honorable Governor, Dr K.K. Paul inaugurated the newly established Biodiversity Park at Vigyan Dham, Jhajra on 3rd Feb, 2018, funded by Satlaj Jal Vidhut Nigam and Designed & developed by Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. Padam Vibhushan, Shri Sunder Lal Bahuguna was the special guest of the inaugural session. Dr Paul appreciated the effort of UCOST in the field of bio-conservation and said it will be an asset for the entire state. 3rd Feb is the 2nd annual day of Regional Science Centre , Dehradun. Dr Rajendra Dobhal, DG, UCOST; Dr S.C. Gairola, Director General, ICFRE; Smt. Vibha Puri Das, Former Secretary, GoI; Shri Ravi Nath Raman, Secretary, Science & Technology; Dr S.D.Sharma, Director, NCSM were present in dice during the inaugural session of 2nd Annual Day Celebration of Regional Science Centre, Dehradun. Prof A. N. Purohit, Former VC, HNBGU, Srinagar; Dr Savita, Director, FRI; Dr C.S. Nautiyal, VC, Doon University; Shri Rakesh Oberai, Chairman, Oberai Motors etc were also present in the august gathering along with UCOST staff and students from various schools. All the dignitaries congratulated to the Team UCOST for this special occasion.
