A Popular Lecture was delivered by Prof Dipankar Banerjee, Director ARIES, Nainital at UCOST, Vigyan Dham, Dehradun on 3rd Sept, 2022 under RSC Popular Lecture Series program. He talked about the Coronal Mass ejection, Solar Influences, Aditya L1 Project and the variability of different time scales in the Sun. Prof Durgesh Pant informed that we regularly organize these types of popular lectures under RSC Popular Lecture series program. An MoU was also signed between UCOST & ARIES for the collaboration of Training , Scientific Research & Awareness programs between each other. Dr Geeta Khanna, Chairman, Uttarakhand Child Rights Protection Commission also joined the program. Dr D.P.Uniyal, Joint Director, UCOST coordinated the program. All the UCOST & RSC staff and lots of science center visitors  attended the lecture at RSC, Dehradun.
