Farewell ceremony of Dr Sanjeev Chopra
A farewell ceremony of Dr Sanjeev Chopra, IAS & Former Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorrie was held at UCOST, Vigyan Dham, Jhajra, Dehradun on 3rd April, 2021 on his successful completion of service. Dr Rajendra Dobhal, Director General, UCOST welcomed the Chief Guest Dr Chopra and his wife Mrs Rashmi Chopra on this occasion. He told that with Dr Chopra as the patron, an International Arts & Literature Festival “Valley of Words” program is organized every year. Dr Dobhal suggested that a special session on “History of Science” could be added during this Lit Fest. Dr Sanjeev Chopra shared his memories as the Secretary, Dept. of Industries, Govt. of Uttarakhand and later as the Director of LBSNAA. Industrial revolution came in Uttrakhand during 2004-2005 when Sh. N.D. Tiwari was Chief Minister of newly formed state of Uttarakhand, and he was the key witness of that industrialization as Secretary Industry. Sh. Ajay Sharma, Dehradun were present on this occasion and shared their views and experiences of working with Dr Chopra and congratulated him for his successful service career. All guests appreciated the efforts of Dr Chopra for bringing industrialization in Uttarakhand. The program ended with vote of thanks to the chair & all the guests by Dr Rajendra Dobhal. Dr Aparna Sharma, Sr. Scientific Officer coordinated the program.
